Starting with JSON

Apr 19, 2016 at 3:43 PM
Hi, I'm new with JSON sources.

I just installed your component and I'm trying to configure it.
I don't have any input columns but I just want to be able to read a JSON file directly.
What should I do ?

Could you please provide an example (screenshots or tutorial) on how to configure a JSON component and a JSON filter ?

Thanks,
Alexandre

Have a look here:

https://jsonsource.codeplex.com/documentation

Basically you have to open the editor of the component (not the advanced one, the custom one. You can simply double click on it) and browse for a local file. Then configure the IO mapping and you should be all set.

Hi,

I already checked here. But the problem is that I can not open the custom editor. It keeps asking me for an input column. I don't have any input.
I just want to read a file.

Thanks

I can confirm this is a BUG in the current release. I plan to fix that by the end of this week.

Bug has been fixed, please download again the installer and reinstall JsonSource. Start a new project in order to be sure that everything is ok.

Let me know if the problem persists.

Regards,

Alberto.
